The UAAP Season 71 Men's Basketball saw some players who have basketball blood flowing on their veins.
Most noticeable among them were Marc Agustin and Paul Gonzalgo of the Adamson Falcons. They are of course, sons of PBA players, Ato Agustin and Dante Gonzalgo respectively. Although their team did not make it to the final four, they made good account of themselves with their performance this season.
Aside from the two mentioned above, I also saw the following players continue the basketball tradition in their respective families.
Joshua Webb ( DLSU ) from former senator and PBA player Freddie Webb's family.
Edgar Tanuan (FEU), son of former PBA Player Jack Tanuan.
Raymond Austria (ADMU), son of AdU coach Leo Austria.
Paul Zamar (UE), son of former UE Coach Boyzie Zamar.
Japs Cuan (UST), brother of former DLSU standout Mac Cuan.
Feel free to add those that I missed through your comments. Click on their names to see their individual statistics this season courtesy of Ubelt.com.
