Roger Federer continued his quest to reclaiming Tennis supremacy as he defeated Marat Safin in their 3rd Round match in the on-going 2009 Australian Open, 6-3 6-2 7-6.
Safin gave it all, especially in the third set but was not enough to overcome the No. 2 seed and prolonged the match.
Federer will face Thomas Berdych on the 4th round.
